About Me – Home Edition

Hey, I’m Tiago!

While work takes up a big part of my life, there’s so much more to who I am beyond the screen. I believe life is about movement, discovery, and connection, and I try to embrace that in everything I do.

One of my biggest passions is running. There’s something about the rhythm of my feet hitting the ground, the steady flow of breath, and the way the world seems to slow down that keeps me coming back.

I especially love trail running—escaping the city and getting lost (figuratively, not literally!) in nature. There’s no better feeling than reaching the top of a challenging climb and taking in the vast, open landscape.

It’s a reminder of how small we are in the grand scheme of things and how important it is to just keep going, step by step.

Cycling is another way I feed my need for movement. Whether it’s a tough ride that leaves my legs burning or a relaxed cycle through scenic roads, there’s something freeing about being on a bike.

The wind in my face, the quiet hum of the wheels on the pavement, and the ability to cover long distances at my own pace make it an experience unlike any other.

It’s not just about fitness—it’s about exploration, about seeing the world from a different perspective.

Speaking of exploration, I love to travel. There’s something magical about arriving in a new place, breathing in unfamiliar air, and immersing myself in a different culture.

I enjoy finding those off-the-beaten-path spots, where the true essence of a place shines through.

Whether it’s a quiet mountain village, a bustling city street, or a serene coastal retreat, each destination has its own story to tell. And for me, a big part of travel is food.

I’m always up for trying new flavors, whether it’s a traditional dish from a street vendor or a carefully crafted meal at a local restaurant.

Food is culture, history, and passion all in one, and I love experiencing it in different parts of the world.

Some of my best memories involve sitting around a table, sharing a meal, and enjoying great conversation.

Music is another thing that fuels me. Whether I’m running, working, or just unwinding, there’s always a soundtrack playing in the background.

It has this incredible ability to set the mood, bring back memories, and even push me through that last tough kilometer on a long run.

I also love to play on my “old friend” synthesizer when i need to cool down. It’s like natural therapy!

But at the end of the day, what matters most to me is family. No matter where I go or what I do, having those connections—whether it’s sharing stories, laughing over inside jokes, or just spending time together—grounds me. Life moves fast, but those moments with the people who truly matter are what make it all meaningful.

So, that’s a bit about me. I’m always looking for the next adventure, the next great meal, or just a good conversation.
