About Me – Work Edition

I’m Tiago,

A tech enthusiast with a passion for building scalable, efficient, and impactful solutions. My journey in software development started back in 2005, and over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to evolve across different roles—from developer to senior developer, and eventually architect.

For 15 years, I worked extensively with Microsoft technologies, mastering C# .NET and its rich ecosystem of design patterns, building robust applications, architecting solutions, and optimizing SQL Server databases. I specialized in designing and implementing complex systems, working with web services, and ensuring high-performance applications.

Then, in 2020, I decided to embrace a new challenge: transitioning into the world of Low-Code with OutSystems.

Since then, I’ve been fully focused on OutSystems development, leveraging its speed and agility to deliver high-quality applications efficiently.

This shift has allowed me to rethink how software is built—balancing rapid development with solid architectural principles.

What drives me at work is problem-solving. I enjoy analyzing business needs, designing smart solutions, and continuously improving processes. Whether working on enterprise applications, integrations, or user-friendly experiences, I always strive to create solutions that are not only functional but also scalable and maintainable.

I believe in clean architecture, best practices, and staying up to date with the latest industry trends. While my background is deeply rooted in traditional coding, I’ve found that Low-Code development doesn’t mean compromising on quality—it’s about accelerating impact while maintaining technical excellence.

Collaboration is also a big part of how I work.

I enjoy mentoring, sharing knowledge, and working closely with teams to ensure we’re building the best solutions possible.

Technology is constantly evolving, and I believe the key to staying relevant is adaptability, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.

Looking ahead, I’m always eager to explore new challenges, optimize development workflows, and contribute to meaningful projects. If you’d like to connect or exchange ideas, feel free to reach out!
